In order to facilitate the attraction of domestic and foreign investment in the economy of the city of Sumy, improve the conditions for the activities of investment entities and simplify the process of their interaction with local governments, according to the Decision of the Executive Committee of Sumy City Council of November 15, 2011 No. 694 “On the organization of work on attraction of investments in the economy of Sumy”, the procedure for submitting, reviewing and monitoring investment projects in Sumy on the principle of “Single Investment Window” was introduced in the city. The Single Investment Window is a simplified system of interaction between the investor and local governments; a unique mechanism for personal support of the investor, the provision of information and legal support, high-quality consulting and integration services for investors who intend to invest in the city's economy //REQUEST FORM//.

In order to establish effective cooperation between the structural units of Sumy City Council and the executive authorities in creating conditions for investors, solving problems arising from the implementation of investment projects, a council on attracting investment to the economy of Sumy – a permanent advisory body under the city mayor – has been created. The executive body of the Council is the secretariat, the main task of which is to organize activities to create the necessary conditions for the implementation of investment projects and monitor the implementation of Council decisions.
